The Owner, Sara Tomenson has been a Registered Early Childhood Educator and a Montessori educator for 15 years, as well as owning her own Home-Based Montessori School. When Sara opened her own school she found it very difficult to find practical life materials and other quality supplies for her school, so she created First Steps Learning Montessori Supplies (FSL Montessori Supplies).

Our love for quality natural and wood materials comes from experience with my daughter and working with young children. All of our products were carefully and specifically selected for children to enrich their learning, play, and life experiences.
